Data You Give Us Directly
If you enter an address or owner name into a sponsored search form, that information is sent to the outside provider operating the form. Greenbrier County Property Records does not save a local history of those queries. A message sent to us contains whatever information you choose to include, which we use to answer that message.
Data We Gather Automatically
The hosting service may record ordinary technical logs, such as an IP address, browser type, requested pages, and time of access. We use aggregate information to maintain the site and understand which guides are useful. Basic analytics or advertising measurement may also use cookies or similar tools where enabled.
What We Do With This Data
Technical information helps us keep pages available, diagnose errors, measure overall visits, and improve the reference. We do not sell a visitor list or create individual browsing profiles.
Links to Other Websites
Links on this guide lead to the Greenbrier County Clerk and Assessor, West Virginia tax and mapping services, and third-party search tools. Each destination sets its own privacy terms. Information entered after following a link is handled by that destination, including sponsored results supplied by an outside company.
Who Might See Your Data
Our hosting and technical providers may process server logs while supporting the site. Analytics or advertising vendors may receive the technical information described above if those services are active. We may also disclose information when required by valid legal process.
How We Protect Your Data
We use an encrypted connection for the site and keep routine logs only for the operational purposes described here. There are no user accounts, saved profiles, or site passwords.
Users Under 18
This property-record reference is intended for adults, not children. We do not knowingly seek personal information from anyone under 18. If a minor has sent us information, use the Contact page to request its deletion.
Your Data Rights
Privacy rights depend on the law that applies to a particular service and location. We have no account profile to provide or edit; contact us through the Contact page about information you sent directly. Public property records remain with their custodians. For an error in a Greenbrier County assessment or recorded document, ask the Assessor or County Clerk to review the source record; this site cannot amend it. West Virginia public-record requests are governed by W. Va. Code ยงยง 29B-1-1 through 29B-1-7.
Updates to This Policy
We will post revisions on this page with the updated policy text. Continued visits after a revision indicate that you have read the current version.
